Composer Joshua Green has the unique ability of having worked within several facets of the music industry. He has composed for various Films, Television and Radio Advertisements, Broadway Theater, and Concert Music.

As a film composer, Joshua has scored an extremely diverse range of films in all genres and has had multiple films screened at International Film Festivals throughout the United States and Europe.

Joshua’s work on Broadway includes credits on A Tale of Two Cities and the Tale of Two Cities Cast Album. Josh has worked on PBS and BBC Television Specials in London, England and was the sole Orchestrator and Arranger for the Delaware Symphony Orchestra’s sponsored educational program: Project MUSIC.

 

 

His concert works have received national recognition as well as performances and premiers in several major venues throughout the United States. In 2009, Joshua was named the National winner of the MTNA Composition Competition for his work, The Muse of Distraction. Joshua’s concert music is in publication with Carl Fischer Publishing and the ASCAP Composer’s catalogue.

Academically, Joshua has studied with prominent composers and musicians such as Ira Newborn, Lenny Pickett, Sonny Kompanek, Todd Groves, Deniz Hughes and Jennifer Margaret Barker. He holds a Bachelors of Music from the University of Delaware, and is finishing a Masters degree in Scoring for Film and Multimedia at New York University.
